Hereford 2 King’s Lynn Town 2King’s Lynn Town displayed the battling qualities needed if they are to maintain their National League North status this season as they picked up a point at Hereford this afternoon.The Linnets trailed 2-0 going into half-time at Edgar Street before turning it around to draw in the second half thanks to goals from Tommy Hughes and Cameron Hargreaves.The final score was a repeat of the scoreline between the two sides on the opening day of the season.Lynn handed a start to former Boston United and Scunthorpe United frontman Johnny Margetts while Quevin Castro – the club’s second new arrival on Friday – came off the bench to make his debut.After conceding twice in the opening 30 minutes, Lynn suffered another blow after losing defender Kyle Callan-McFadden to injury a few minutes later.Lynn, who remain in the bottom four having played more goals than the four sides above them in the table, have two huge home games this week.Manager Lakeland’s former club Curzon Ashton are the visitors on Tuesday night before Chester then travel to the Walks on Saturday.Hereford: Pond, Skinner, Teixeira (Babos 70), Downing, Cesay, Pugh, Obadeyi, Mendes, Southern, Rooney (Williams 70), Howkins.
