It was League Cup quarter-final week In the North West Norfolk League which meant no league points were won or lost.AFC Lynn Reserves were the biggest winners with a thumping 9-0 victory over West Lynn.Max Goodrum found the net on four occasions to add to a Neil Goodbourn brace, Dean Kerr, and Bradley Murrell.The league’s top two went head to head with KLSC FC Reserves losing out 3-1 to Reffley.Dan Berry was on target for KLSC whilst Precious Bisong and an Alfie Moulder double saw them through to the semi-finals.KLSC finished the game with 10 men as referee Ray Venemore dismissed Harry Carter.Dersingham Reserves and Terrington seem to draw each other every season in cup competitions, and this year was no different. The two played out a tight 2-1 Dersingham win with Ahmed Rhaouti, Ben Welch and Kodie Turvey all finding the scoresheet for their respective sides.The last team to make it through to the semi-finals was Watlington Reserves as they defeated Clenchwarton.They had Darren Van Campenhout and Jake Fenn find the net with Chris Scammell striking for Clenchwarton.KLSC FC A progressed to the Division 2 semi-finals with a 3-1 win against Dersingham A.Riley Wake scored a brace before receiving a red card from referee Robert Fogarty and Alfie Royle completed the scoring.Goals from Ivan Crisp, Thomas Hunt and Harvey Pearce earned Marshland Saints a 3-1 win against Shouldham.Louis Haddleton scored the consolation for Shouldham.Table toppers, The Woottons, are running away in Division 2 and their 4-2 win over West Winch certainly helped their title challenge.Mark Smith, Harvey Hughes, Samuel Garner and Louis Gaughran found the net for the Sky Blues.
