May 2000: It’s that winning feeling: Players in the Dawbarns Pearson Netball League receive their championship and runners-up trophies at the league’s presentation evening held at Lynnsport.

May 2000: The Whirlwind, Jimmy White, was blown off course by local professional Joe Perry when the fans’ favourite visited Lynn.
The two stars visited Kingswall Hyundai on the North Lynn industrial estate to sign autographs and chat to around 250 visitors before going on to Lynnsport for an exhibition match watched by 750 fans. White rattled off a 135 break, but Perry replied with a 129 and the Wisbech ace went on to win 6-3.

May 2000: Lynn’s King Edward VII High School under 14s cricket team won the county cup, beating Norwich in the final which was held over from the previous season.

May 2003: Seven teams competed in the Lynn News table tennis challenge and some of the players are pictured here. It was judged a success and plans were made for it to become an annual event for local companies and organisations.
Harvey Webb and Dave Evans, from the English Table Tennis Tournament made a guest appearance and duly reached the final where they beat Superblades coaches Steve Goodale and Graham Rogerson.

May 2003: Norwich City U19 player David Chick presented trophies to East Lynn Reds U10s.
