A workshop and guided walk to help identify and recognise different types of ducks.
This is a great time to birdwatch ducks at RSPB Titchwell Marsh, but if you’re feeling a bit flummoxed by dabbling versus diving ducks or get confused by birds in profile, this informal workshop is just the thing!
Join us as we explore a variety of sea ducks and freshwater species. We’ll use flight patterns, feeding behaviours, and moult sequences to help with species identification. We’ll also delve into the curious world of hybrid species and visiting migrants.
The session includes both indoor classroom activities and outdoor fieldwork, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Binoculars are a bonus if you have them!
