West Norfolk hosts mini festival

West Norfolk Rugby Club welcomed a huge number of younger players and their passionate supporters to Gatehouse Lane early on an autumnal Sunday morning.More than 600 players – ranging in ages from U7 to U12s – from many Norfolk and regional clubs were present to play 115 games of rugby at the club’s mini-festival.All participants demonstrate the continued growth and popularity of the sport.Teams taking part were: West Norfolk, Norwich, Crusaders, Holt, Diss, Wisbech, March Bears. Fakenham and Swaffham.Perfect weather and an amazing group of volunteers helped make the day go smoothly.Special thanks to the U13s and senior men for their help on the day.
