At the weekend, 17 West Norfolk rugby players represented the Under-12s in a national competition in Minehead, Somerset, hosted by Leicester Tigers.
Teams took part from all over the country and were split into five groups of five teams, and then depending how they did on the first day were organised into further fixtures on the second day.
Across the weekend, the team played seven games, winning four and narrowly losing three games to very strong opposition, one of which went onto to win the overall competition.
On the final afternoon, the team were crowned the ‘Trophy’ winners at a glamourous presentation ceremony. All of the boys played well across both days as did the rest of the team.
