People in the West Norfolk area are being invited to recycle their Christmas trees in the New Year for a good cause.
Break is working with Just Helping to offer the service for people in the postcode areas PE30-38 or NR21-23.
The charity will collect your tree between the 8th and 10th of January 2025, in exchange for a small donation.
All the proceeds from the collections will go directly to supporting young people who have faced a difficult start to life.
The deadline to book your tree collection is Sunday, 5th January 2025. And they’ll be getting a very royal send off, with Sandringham Estate kindly storing and chipping all the trees that are collected.
“If you’re having a real tree this year, this a fantastic way to take the hassle out of disposing of it, said Break Fundraising Manager Sarah Bunn. “We’ll whisk your tree away in January and all donations raised ensure that we can continue the fantastic work with do for the children and young people who have faced difficult life challenges.”
Volunteers are also needed to help collect the trees in January, so if you’re interested in getting involved, Break would love to have more hands-on deck .
