Treble World Champion Tai Woffinden has promised an engaging evening for supporters when he visits King’s Lynn as part of his stage tour later this week.Woffinden is one of speedway’s most recognisable characters and his return to regular UK league racing last summer was a big boost to the Premiership. He remained with Sheffield this season but saw his campaign ended with a broken elbow after a heavy crash in Poland at the end of June. Now he’s wrapping up the year with a ten-day tour taking in several speedway locations, including a night at the Adrian Flux Arena on Monday, October 7.Woffinden said: “The nights I used to do with Nigel (Pearson) before Covid always went down really well with the fans and they were something I always enjoyed doing.“We’ve always had quite a giggle and they’re always interesting nights.“I’m pretty sure most people know by now that I don’t really hold back and there’s no area that is off-limits. “I’ll be looking back on my own 2024 season, some of the many highs and lows throughout my career so far and, as always, I’ll be offering my views on where I think the sport is at right now at this moment in time. “Whenever people have been to my shows before, they’ve always enjoyed them because that’s how it is and they usually go home happy with a smile on their face.“There’s a lot I haven’t spoken to anyone in depth about how it’s all unfolded and what’s gone on this year, so this could be the most interesting one yet.“I’m really looking forward to doing an extended tour of these shows and it will be the perfect way to interact with supporters across the UK before I head to Australia for the winter break.” Woffinden will be joined by long-serving Wolverhampton team manager Peter Adams, who mentored him during his World title-winning campaigns.Doors open at 7pm on October 7 with the event starting at 8pm. Tickets priced at £15 can be purchased from: https://portal.offbeattickets.com/o/Woffinden? Meanwhile, King’s Lynn’s Niels-Kristian Iversen could end the season as part of a Premiership title victory with Belle Vue.Iversen guested for the Aces in last week’s 54-36 win over Leicester in the first leg of the Grand Final after Ben Cook suffered concussion at Sheffield last week.
