A road in Lynn has reopened after police said an incident regarding concerns for safety at a block of flats was “resolved safely”.Emergency services responded to reports of the incident at Hillington Square this morning, with officers closing Millfleet at the junction with London Road while they were on the scene.Earlier, a spokesperson for Norfolk Police said: “Officers are currently at the scene of an ongoing concern for safety incident in Hillington Square.”

Emergency services including firefighters, paramedics and police were on the scene this morning
Fire engines were also seen parked up on nearby St James Street

They have since confirmed that the incident was “resolved safely” and that the road had reopened.Ambulances and fire engines were also seen on Millfleet this morning, with fire engines spotted on St James Street.A spokesperson for Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said that crews from Lynn were called to assist police at Hillington Square, with a stop message received at around 10.40am.The East of England Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
