This year’s Bespak GEAR 10k held on Sunday, saw runners from Terrington St Clement Running Club (TSCRC) out in force to join in with one of the highlights of the local running calendar.This year saw thirty-five adult runners connected to the club, with over half achieving a PB of the distance.In addition, 13 juniors took on the mini-GEAR.This year’s finishers were: Dylan Whitehouse (PB 0:34:56), Jake Whitehouse (PB 0:40:57), Mark Garrett (PB 0:45:27), Jamie Bransgrove (0:46:47), Joanna Banaszek (0:50:15), Sarah Counsell (0:52:08), Helen Garrett (PB 0:52:59), Nic Bouskill (0:53:14), Alan Bartrum (0:53:56), Jo Bartrum (PB 0:53:56), Adam Sherrard (0:53:56), Angela Southwell (PB 0:54:12), Kirsty Slater (PB 0:55:14), Catherine Swann (0:55:28), Claire Whitehouse (PB 0:56:13), Oscar McCarthy-Aske (0:56:21), Adrian Pepper (0:58:07), Jo Lucas (PB 0:58:16), John Greenwood (PB 0:58:20), Alex Warby (PB 0:58:44), Katie Shirley (PB 0:59:19), Emily Greenwood (0:59:45), Shannon Tinkler (PB 1:00:22), Alex Backx (PB 1:00:49), Toni Backx (PB 1:00:49), Amy Neal (1:00:50), Hollie Little (PB 1:04:03), Michael Little (1:04:15), Joanna Shinn (1:07:19), Michelle Foreman (1:07:55), Janet McCarthy (PB 1:09:26), James Courtman (1:10:09), Charlie Cooper (PB 1:10:42), Tim Aske (1:17:53 and Kerry Buttriss (1:24:29).In the mini-GEAR, the runners were Finley, Esme, Amy, Sophie, Rose, Leo, Charlie, Lily, Willow, Isla, Alana, Darcey, and Annabelle.On the previous weekend, three runners from the club ran 26.2 miles in hot weather. Martin Stevens completed the 45th London Marathon in a time of 3:21:22.Jo Lucas ran a PB 4:47:20 running the London Marathon My Way on a route between Walpole St Andrew and Terrington St Clement. Adam Sherrard, completing the distance for the first time, ran the London Marathon My Way locally, starting and finishing in Terrington St Clement with a finishing time of 4:50:12.The two running locally were supported by other members of the club.
