Teenage sensation Aaron Alexander claimed the UK Plate Trophy with a hard fought win in the final at Daventry. The West Norfolk karting ace was in sublime form during a competitive days racing.Tough competition came in the form of two other top drivers in the country at the Wilton Mill Circuit in the sprint racing series.Formerly known as AA Racing, the teenager’s team was renamed FSR when the Alexanders joined up with the Lamberts in 2021 to compete in the British Prokart Endurance Championships (BPEC).This led to them becoming Junior British Champions and the team managed to take the Senior Pro British Championship in 2022.During the 2023 season the team managed to secure second in the top Elite championship and received interest from Haase racing. The former KES Academy pupil is now the face of the Haase Karting set up and the FSR team has now been renamed FSR Haase. The Wilton Mill finals will be made into a two-hour TV programme set to air on Sky channel 427 on Saturday at around 2pm.The next race for the FSR Haase team is on March 10 at the first round of the British Prokart Endurance Championship. The race will be six hours in length and the driving will be completed be Aaron and his teammate Kieran Lambert.
