Students in the medals at Welsh Championships

Students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do have won a whopping 17 medals at the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB) Welsh Championships.Around 22 students, including students from Lynn and Swaffham, travelled to Cardiff Metropolitan University for the 2025 championships and the 40th anniversary of the competition.Held in a massive arena, more than 750 competitors took part, and more than 200 officials were on hand to monitor the 22 fighting areas, which ran throughout the day.The students competed in Pattern, Sparring, Destruction, Team Patterns and Team Sparring events during the day and amassed 15 medals for their efforts.Mark Farnham said: “To win any award at this event is a very serious achievement, so very well done to the students who achieved placings.”Lynn resultsJack Benefer men’s black belt sparring third; H.
