Lynn was shaken to its core last Saturday night as Metal Mayhem roared into the Adrian Flux Arena.

And with it came an onslaught of action in four Banger classes and the always-chaotic F2 Stock Cars.

In the microbangers, the smallest cars delivered some of the biggest thrills.

155 Sam Coote dominated early, winning the opening race and backing it up with solid 4th and 5th place finishes.

673 Darren Fendley showed grit with a consistent second, third and fourth across the board, while 757 Callum Gill – usually seen in a BriSCA F1 stock car – impressed with podium finishes in all three of his races.

The junior bangers brought both heart as well as horsepower.

669 William Cartwright capped off his junior career in style, finishing fifth in qualifying before clinching victory in the meeting final – a perfect send-off before moving up to the senior ranks.

But the night’s true mayhem came from the F2 stock cars, where early contenders 43 Marcus Gilbert, 233 Rob Aldridge, and 715 Scott Aldridge powered through to the final.

Yet the Allcomers race brought high drama, with Rob Aldridge stealing headlines in a spectacular rollover that left fans stunned and reminded everyone just how fierce F2 action can be.

If that wasn’t enough carnage, more is on the way.

On Saturday at 5pm, Trackstar presents the Bilge Bonanza – a full-throttle festival of rust, wreckage, and glorious nonsense.
