Officials at King’s Lynn Speedway continue to work round-the-clock to secure the club’s long-term future.
The club remains hopeful of being able to continue after taking a self-imposed break to regroup and resolve several issues.
Last Monday’s home match against Peterborough was postponed as the club took stock of their problems and were involved with extensive discussions with British Speedway Promoters’ Ltd.
The club is now in a position to resume racing with home and away meetings against Leicester Lions this week.
A statement from the club said: “We must stress that we are doing everything possible to put the club into a better position, and that process is ongoing.
“When the Peterborough meeting scheduled for July 10 was postponed, we stated that we needed some breathing space and we would then fulfil our fixtures, and that is still our intention.
“There is a great deal of work going on in the background, and if there are any parties interested in helping, we urge you to make yourself known.
“Keith and Cheryl Chapman are ensuring the continuation of the club in the 2023 season, but we are also trying to secure the short, medium and long-term future of King’s Lynn Speedway.
“All help would be appreciated, but as we do everything possible to keep the team on track, we would urge supporters to show their backing and join us on Thursday for the match against Leicester.
“We thank everyone for their understanding, including BSP Ltd for their support, and we look forward to seeing the Stars back in action over the coming days.”
King’s Lynn are due to return to Sports Insure Premiership action tonight against Leicester.
With work continuing to stabilise the club, the Stars will visit Leicester tonight in a round one fixture, and then host the Lions in a round two clash at the Adrian Flux Arena on Thursday.
Lynn’s one-to-seven remained unchanged, and the club confirmed that guests have been booked for this week to cover for the injured Michael Palm Toft.
Former Leicester rider Kyle Howarth will stand in at Beaumont Park tonight, whilst ex-Stars skipper Rory Schlein will fill the gap at home on Thursday.
The MacInnes Stars are gunning for their first away win of the season with plenty of track knowledge in their ranks.
Skipper Nicolai Klindt showed he knows every inch of the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena circuit at Beaumont Park with his brilliant display in the recent Premiership Pairs, while guest Howarth is a former Leicester captain.
Meanwhile, Lynn reserves Simon Lambert and Rowe have also spent time with the Lions earlier in their careers.
Meanwhile, Lynn’s Rising Star Anders Rowe put in a brilliant performance to finish second in the British Under-21 Final at Glasgow on Sunday.
Rowe was the class of the field at Ashfield as he raced to a 15-point maximum in the qualifying heats, but the meeting would be decided in a thrilling Final.
Having missed out at the start from the inside, Rowe gained speed as the race continued and managed to work his way past Dan Gilkes and Dan Thompson – but he was out of time to catch winner Connor Bailey.
Rowe is back in action for the Stars when they travel to Leicester on Monday.
