King’s Lynn have been hit by a further injury blow ahead of their home double-header this week – starting against Belle Vue on Wednesday (7.30pm).The PSH Environmental Stars race twice at the Adrian Flux Arena in the space of 24 hours as they catch up on their Rowe Motor Oil Premiership fixtures, with league leaders Sheffield in town on Thursday. And Lynn will now be without Polish racer Patryk Wojdylo, who suffered a broken hand in a crash whilst racing for Krosno at Rybnik on Sunday and will therefore miss the remaining league matches. That means manager Rob Lyon has again been busy booking guests, although an unexpected boost is the availability of captain Niels-Kristian Iversen. The Dane is no longer required to race in his home country on Wednesday, and despite missing last Thursday’s clash with Oxford he was replaced by a ‘no facility’ guest meaning he is free to return ahead of schedule.Elsewhere in the line-up Richard Lawson makes another appearance at No.1 after his stellar show against the Spires, and he takes the place of Jan Kvech who has a Czech league fixture, whilst Chris Harris stands in for Nicolai Klindt.Meanwhile, Drew Kemp takes the guest booking for Wojdylo. Belle Vue have qualified for the play-offs and currently sit second in the league table, with their star attraction being British GP winner Dan Bewley. The Aces do however have a doubt over captain Brady Kurtz who missed their away match at Sheffield on Bank Holiday Monday, where they used rider replacement.Stars manager Rob Lyon said: “We’ve got Richard again, riding at No.1 for Jan because he’s away in a Czech Ekstraliga match which we can’t change unfortunately, which wasn’t on the calendar when we looked at it, so that’s one of those things really.“Richard had another great score for us last Thursday against Oxford, and Bomber will come in for Nicolai against Belle Vue. “As we aren’t in with a chance of the play-offs it does take the pressure off a little bit, but the team gave 100 per cent last week and now we move on to the next one.”King’s Lynn: Richard Lawson, Benjamin Basso r/r, Chris Harris, Drew Kemp, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lewis Kerr, Anders Rowe.Belle Vue: Dan Bewley, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Ben Cook, Brady Kurtz (TBC), Antti Vuolas, Jake Mulford.
