King’s Lynn have made their youngest-ever signing – and he’s only just started school!Cruz Harris, who turns five next week and is the son of new PSH Environmental Stars recruit Chris, will become the club’s official mascot for the 2025 season.Despite his age, Cruz has already forged a real reputation as a big character in his own right, both on and off track, with a rapidly growing following on social media. He’s already displayed many of the racing attributes which have helped his father enjoy such a long-lasting and successful career, having appeared at several UK tracks on his electric Revvi bike, where his pre-meeting rides have proved hugely popular.Cruz led the rider parade for Stars racer Richard Lawson’s Testimonial meeting at Poole last season, and he was also called upon to officially open the training track at Leicester.Earlier this winter, he played a starring role in a superb Apprentice-style team reveal video at Chris’s Championship club Glasgow, which was even played out at his school after he had been allowed time off to attend. Now he’ll be riding prior to home matches at the Adrian Flux Arena in 2025 – and the good news is he’s agreed to bring his dad along with him to race for the Stars! Cruz said: “I’m really excited to be the King’s Lynn mascot, and I hope all my fans turn up so I can do some autographs and photos, I’m really looking forward to that!” Cruz will be riding the Revvi and his MXR dirt bike, which he is currently growing into, and then when he turns six next year he plans to ride a 50cc cadet grasstrack bike, which has already been sponsored.Cruz and parents Chris and Emma-Louise would like to thank Emma and Colin from Glulam Ltd and Allied Mobility (Glasgow) for their sponsorship, as well as the King’s Lynn management for the mascot opportunity.Co-promoter Dale Allitt said: “We know what a following Cruz already has, and every time he goes out on a track the fans absolutely love it, so I’m sure they will welcome this news. “We were excited to finally land the signing of Chris this winter, and it will be great to see Cruz riding at the Adrian Flux Arena on a regular basis.“We’re always trying to plan ahead, so maybe this is some early work ahead of our team building for around 2036!”The club are now just over eight weeks away from their opening meeting of the season, the Niels-Kristian Iversen Testimonial on Sunday, March 16 (3pm), with the Stars going into team action for the first time on March 24 at home to Oxford in the KO Cup.
