Sponsorship boost for West Norfolk athletes

West Norfolk Athletic Club had a boost recently after West Norfolk builder’s merchant MKM, based on Hamburg Way, agreed to sponsor the uniform worn by coaches and volunteers at the club.There are around 20 unpaid qualified coaches, who give up vast amounts of their own time to ensure the club’s 200-plus athletes receive the appropriate training across several disciplines.Coaches require a uniform so that they stand out at the regular training sessions of around four hours per week.MKM is the UK’s leading independent builder’s merchant, with branches across England, Scotland and Wales.Founded in 1995, they have branches across the length and breadth of the UK from Redruth to Elgin Norwich and Llandudno. MKM have agreed to a three-year deal organised by parent and club committee member Mark Gilboy.The new uniform was gladly received and has gone down well with coaches so far.West Norfolk AC is hugely thankful for any support given, especially in the current climate.
