Some of David’s close family and friends attended the race and awarded the trophy to the winners. Thanks go out to all the club volunteers and friends who turned up and pulled together to make this day run as smoothly as possible and to Athletics Norfolk, officials, parents, and the athletes. The logistics around this event are huge and rely on those volunteers to pull it together. It’s also down to some experienced organisers behind the scenes, such as the club’s own Paul Bailey, who is the glue that sticks the pieces together.
