Runners out in force at Ferry Meadows

Renegade Runners were out in force at the second of the five-race Peterborough 5k series at Ferry Meadows.Thomas Elsdon and Stanley Pyatt got the evening off to a flyer despite the warm conditions in their shorter-distance race.Elsdon was sixth in the under-13 boys’ category in 11min37sec and 19th overall while Pyatt posted a 12-second personal best, just two seconds behind in 11.39, to place 20th overall and the fifth under-11 boy.In the main 5k race Beth Moden, just three days after the Norwich triathlon ran, 20.58. She was followed by Sharon Elsdon (32.37), Sal Moden (34.14) and Darren Elsdon (34.53).
