Dersingham Rovers A were unable to hold onto a half-time lead in a defeat to Watlington.
It was a very closely contested game in the first half. Dersingham made the breakthrough, Nathan Branch set up Nathan Mitchell for a classy finish to make it 1-0.
The second half saw Dersingham’s depleted side tire and the game turn.
Watlington finally got the goal they deserved through Andrew Carter and then Jake Chaplin scored their second.
In a sometimes tight, feisty game, the young referee, Cody Pearman, handled the game excellently.
Dersingham would like to give a massive thank you to Suiters Construction Limited for sponsoring the As matchday kit for the season.
The Man of the Match for Dersingham was Joshua Deadman and for Watlington, Jake Chaplin.
