It was another beautiful morning in The Walks for King’s Lynn parkrun with 379 runners, supported by 32 brilliant volunteers, enjoying their Saturday run.It was great to see nine first-time runners out with us, together with 26 first-time visitors.First-time visitor Daniel Wilson, from Littleport, was the first to finish this week in a time of 17:02 and junior (10-14) runner, Libby Sibthorp, was the first female to finish in 21:05.It was also good to see 46 runners with personal bests this week and a special mention to regular park runner Pauline Sparrow, who was this week’s age-grade hero with a brilliant grading of 82:74 per cent. The latest milestones saw Julie Shew complete her 50th parkrun, Mandy Fisher her 100th and Erin McNeil her 150th.Finally, parkrun was the location for a spot of filming on behalf of Alive Leisure, whose promotional film featured the cabinet member for people and communities, councillor Jo Rust.
