There was a good turnout for the final tournament of the season at Downham Croquet Club.
Eight members competed for the Lady Rose Bowl, a one-ball event named after the late Lady Rose Hare.
A close finish saw Colin Spencer and Al Napp on four wins but as Napp had numbered Spencer among his victories, he received the trophy.
The season will close earlier than usual to enable the lawns to be completely relaid in the first week of September.
