Madison raises £430 for league champions Gaywood

A young footballer from Gaywood has gone the extra mile to raise money for her football team.Gaywood under-13s player Madison Bowman ran the Luminate run in Sandringham in November 2024.The teenager managed to raise £430 and decided to give this money to the recently crowned league champions.Madison said: “It feels amazing to raise that much money. I did it because I wanted better equipment so we could train better.”Club chairman Billy Russell said: “Madison has acted selflessly. She has shown that she cares about her team. All of us at Gaywood are very proud of her.”
