Lynn venue plays host to Sunday banger action

Non-stop banger racing returns to the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday with 160 competitors scheduled to race (1pm).The meeting will feature the brutal and hard-hitting two-litre bangers, the fast and furious 1600cc bangers off the back of a superb action-packed Icebreaker event.The always-entertaining Classic Cars R Us junior bangers and the lady unlimited bangers are also on the line, and there is lots to look forward to.Over 100 full-contact national bangers are expected and in the two-litre bangers, we’ll be watching out for 340 Wes Freestone, who is quick in the 2L class around Lynn and will certainly be one to watch out for.The same could be said for 479 Joel Allen and 356 Sam Hildon in the 1600cc bangers, both are often in the results and likely to feature well again on Sunday.More than 40 junior bangers are anticipated and eyes will be on 478 Morgan Bailey who starts with the top drivers for the first time on the Lynn shale and 669 William Cartwright also gets an upgraded grid position following his good form.More than 20 lady bangers are booked to round out the line-up; 502 Becca Bitson had a stunning year last season winning both the Gold Roof race and the points title too.Bitson starts her 2025 campaign this weekend and is looking to get her championship reign off to a good start.Visit the Trackstar website https://www.stockcar-racing.co.uk/ for event details including advance tickets, which are cheaper than on the day at the Box office- plus kids 11 and undergo free when booked in advance.
