Lynn to stage Unlimited Banger Icebreaker

It’s a New Year and it’s mid-January as the thrills and spills return to Lynn on Sunday with the 31st staging of the Unlimited Banger Icebreaker Teams Championship, sponsored by WFS Anglia.All the ingredients are there for it to be as good as ever with around 80 cars of some of the biggest and best banger drivers from across the country heading to Saddlebow Road; accompanied by the always excellent junior bangers.Fans can look forward to a fantastic afternoon of non-stop Bangers with 10 action-packed races and a Destruction Derby.Sunday will see the Unlimited Banger entrants split and the teams race in a series of Heat races before taking on the Icebreaker Championship final; ending the day with a Destruction Derby.There will be two points charts; one for the point scorers for their race finishes – points are only available to the top five positions in each race so drivers need to make their races count.The other chart; is the Entertainer league, where the more crashing from a driver the more points that team gets.The banger stars are out in force for this one, with some top talent from across the UK. Number 604 Ross Cooper will fly the flag for Lynn, racing for the Aftermath team, who will very likely be getting stuck in.
