It has been a busy couple of weeks for students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae kwon-do.
Students enjoyed success at the World Championships, held at the Sky Dome, in Coventry, and also at a colour belt grading at the Community Centre at Providence Street – the last time an event will be hosted at the venue.
The Mark Farnham Schools gained 19 awards at the event including two World Champions, and a huge haul of medals.
Successful students at the World Championships were as follows: Jack Benefer men’s black belt sparring third; Harley Calton boy’s black belt team sparring third; Niki Celinskis cadet boy’s black belt sparring third; Spencer Dawes men’s red belt sparring second; Kasey Grimes girl’s black belt team sparring third, Emma Mattocks girl’s black belt sparring second, girl’s black belt team sparring third; Gvidas Norvilas boy’s black belt sparring third; James Russell men’s black belt sparring second; Charlotte Scott ladies’ black belt sparring third; Callum Warnes men’s green belt sparring first.
Colour belt gradings at Lynn and Downham were as follows.
