A four-times world champion thrilled a sell-out crowd as Mark Selby played an exhibition at the Maltings Q Club on Saturday night.
Selby – fresh from his runners-up spot at this year’s Cazoo World Championship – was joined by Chatteris cueman Joe Perry, and others, for an evening of snooker at the Lynn venue.
Leicester-based Selby – the first player to make a 147 in a World Championship final – delighted the 100 fans present, compiling a number of centuries during his time at the table.
Selby posed for photographs with spectators along with 2022 Welsh Open winner Perry, who used to be attached to the Maltings Q Club early in his playing career.
Also putting in an appearance on the night was rising ace Nathan Jones who is preparing for one of the biggest tests of his career this week,
Jones, 33, travels to the Leicester Morning Side Arena later this week for Q School in his quest to earn himself a tour card.
First up for Jones is a clash against Mike Finn on Friday and, if successful there, Barry Pinches awaits in the second round.
