Lynn circuit plays host to four-formula bill

There will be plenty of banger action at Lynn on Saturday (5pm) with four formulas on the bill.The 2L bangers, 1600cc bangers, junior bangers and unlimited lady bangers will all be in action.It will be a busy night for local drivers with each of the four formulas in action having some local input.Former 2L Banger World Champion Kieran Bowman will be keen to get some 2025 World Qualifying points on the board as he enters the second round on zero points but he will be confident of changing that.Ashley Garrod and Troy Cobbett will both have a busy night as they race both the 2L and 1600cc bangers whilst Jon Cooper will be another local driver who is more than capable of racking up plenty of World Points.Other local drivers who will be joining Ashley and Troy in the 1600cc bangers include Wes Freestone, Jack Bailey, Alex Smith, John Cook and Sam Hildon. The unlimited lady bangers will contest their biggest race of the season – the Gold Roof Final where Amy Steele, Becca Bitson and Kayleigh Sanders will all be in action and looking to win the biggest prize in the sport. There will be plenty of local youngsters chasing success in the junior bangers.Two local drivers with very varying degrees of experience will be making their debut in the formula.Hayden Samson is very close to the retirement age in this formula and will be making his debut after doing exceptionally well in the MicraStox, which is a stock car-based junior formula. Bobby Aldridge, 11, will be out in the junior bangers for the first time at Lynn after reaching the minimum age for the formula following a superb career in the Ninja Karts.Regular pilots Morgan Bailey, Aiden Garrod, Jack Garrod Jnr and Daisy Reynolds will also be in action in the junior bangers.
