Luton Town frontman joins in training session with Clenchwarton youngsters

Young footballers from Clenchwarton were lucky enough to have King’s Lynn Town’s Rob Back and ex-Linnet Joe Taylor at a training session last week.

Luton Town striker Taylor, who is currently on loan at League Two Colchester, joined in the under-11 training drills and spoke about his footballing journey from a young age.

The prolific fromtman, who has scored five goals in seven appearances for the U’s this season, was happy to sign autographs and shirts and pose for photos during the session.

Clenchwarton Under-11s manager Rob High said: “It came as a bit of a surprise but all of the lads were enthralled to have Joe there.

“He played and trained with the team like he was one of them, spoke about his football career, the highs and lows, and happily signed autographs and posed for photos.

“He also sent some of the lads pictures from the play-off final at Wembley, he was brilliant.”
