King’s Lynn Town have raided near-neighbours Spalding United to sign another goalkeeper.
The Linnets have brought in former Accrington Stanley and Peterborough United shotstopper Aaron Chapman from the Tulips.
The 6ft 8in custodian has plenty of National League North experience, having featured for both Scunthorpe United and Hereford at that level.
Chapman made more than 60 appearances in the Football League for Accrington before joining Peterborough.
The 35-year-old had spells at Tranmere Rovers, Motherwell, Gillingham and Stevenage before linking up with Spalding boss Jimmy Dean at Scunthorpe.
After leaving the Iron, he played for Boston United and also Worksop Town.
Chapman is in line to make his Lynn debut tonight when the Linnets host Kidderminster Harriers at the Docherty Walks Stadium, with summer signing Louis Chadwick serving a one-match suspension for his sending off at Chorley.
