King’s Lynn Town are set to part company with head coach James Rowe.
Rumours are rife that the former Chesterfield and AFC Fyle manager is to be relieved of his duties.
The 41-year-old has been in charge at the Docherty Walks Stadium for less than five months after being brought in to replace former boss Adam Lakeland.
Rowe promised Lynn fans one “hell of a ride” after his appointment towards the end of May and has been true to his word with Lynn’s front-foot football catching the eye in the early weeks of the new season.
He is set to depart with the Linnets ninth in the National League North table, two points off the play-off places.
Rowe’s dismissal is not thought to be for footballing reasons.
