King’s Lynn Town head coach James Rowe has completed his first piece of business in the transfer market. The new Linnets chief has brought in Reece Hall-Johnson from Barnet.Hall-Johnson said: “It’s great to be here. I had a conversation with the manager and he sold me the vision of the club, what he wants to do and where he wants to take it.”It just aligned with my ideas and how I want my career to go. James has done well at other clubs, so I’m hoping he can bring that to King’s Lynn.”I think as a player, nothing impresses you more than a manager who wants you, a manager who wants to play you, and a manager who wants to give you a platform and he expressed that with me.”Hall-Johnson, 30, spent just over two seasons in the National League with Wrexham before joining Barnet in July 2023.He also spent two seasons with Grimsby Town in the Football League and featured for Northampton Town in League Two. The right-sided player spent the end of last season on loan at Solihull Moors and will add a wealth of experience to Lynn’s backline. He has made more than 200 career appearances after coming through Norwich City’s academy as a youngster. The arrival of Hall-Johnson comes on the back of Gold Omotayo, Paul Jones and Cameron Forde-Brown all agreeing terms for next season.Jones has also taken up the role of goalkeeping coach at The Walks.
