Linnets lose another player to National Premier side

Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain is the latest player to jump ship from King’s Lynn Town.

Oxlade-Chamberlain – brother of Liverpool’s Alex – has signed for National League Premier side Kidderminster Harriers.

Harriers defeated the Linnets in the National League North play-off semi-finals last season.

A statement from Harriers a short while ago read: “Harriers have further strengthened their squad with the arrival at Aggborough of Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain.

“The 25-year-old has inked a two-year deal with Harriers which, subject to National League and FA confirmation, keeps him in Worcestershire until the summer of 2025.

“Oxlade-Chamberlain came up against Harriers three times while part of the squad at King’s Lynn Town last season, the two sides doing battle in the regular season and the play-off semi-final.

“As well as his time at The Walks last term, the Portsmouth-born player featured for Aldershot Town in the 2021-22 National League, and counts Notts County, Oxford City and Eastbourne among his other clubs.

“Oxlade-Chamberlain is a versatile performer, comfortable in midfield or defence, who joins fellow new faces Kieran Phillips, Jack Lambert and Gerry McDonagh in reporting back for pre-season training at the tail end of this week.

“Welcome to Aggborough, Christian.”

Signing for Lynn in November 2022, Oxlade-Chamberlain made 37 appearances (22 starts) and scored two goals.

He joins Theo Widdrington, Aaron Jones, Tai Fleming, Michael Clunan, Tyler Denton, Gold Omotayo, Ben Siggers, Zain Walker, Jack Morrell and Tyler Knowles to depart the club over the summer.

So far Lynn have brought in Jack Smith and Emmanuel Oke.
