Rushall Olympic 0 King’s Lynn Town 0King’s Lynn Town picked up a hard-fought point after a goalless draw at relegation-threatened Rushall Olympic tonight.Despite their best efforts, Lynn were unable to regain the winning thread against a much-improved Pics outfit, who came into the game having won four of their previous five games, including impressive successes against the likes of Scunthorpe, Kidderminster Harriers and Leamington.The Linnets still occupy one of the play-off spots in the National League North but dropped a place to sixth in the table after tonight’s other games and now find themselves six points behind Chester at the top.Manager Adam Lakeland was true to his word by making three changes to the side with Dylan Crowe, Sam Walker and Finlay Barnes all coming into the side while striker Jonny Margetts was among the substitutes.Josh Coulson and Josh McCammon paid the price for Saturday’s dismal display at Peterborough Sports and were dropped to the bench while loan signing Finlay Armstrong wasn’t in the squad.After a goalless first half on the plastic pitch at Dales Lane, the game came to life after the interval with both goalkeepers making key saves. Nathan Cameron was denied a certain goal by Paul Jones at one end while at the other end of the pitch Paul White brilliantly tipped a Ross Crane effort over his woodwork.
