King’s Lynn Town boss Adam Lakeland is expecting a tough test when his side make the short trip to Peterborough Sports on Saturday. The Linnets, one defeat in 10 games, travel to Peterborough on Saturday to take on a Turbines’ team with one defeat in 12 outings.Former Linnet, Michael Gyasi leads the Turbines’ scoring chart with seven goals while both Ryan Fryatt and Michael Gash have played an influential part in Sports’ recent good form.Lakeland said: “I’ve said to the players all this week when you’re a team that’s up near the top of the division at any time in the season you’ve got a little bit of a target on your back.”Everybody wants to beat you and everybody will put that that little bit more in. Peterborough, Sports are a very good team. “They’re a very difficult team to play against, very physical, they’ve got pace in the team and it’s not an easy place to go.”We watched them at Chorley where they were very deserving of a point and we know that Saturday will be a really difficult game where we’re going to be tested and where it’s going to be tough.”It’s probably not going to be pleasing to the eye, but we’ve got to find a way to go there and try to get a result. “I wasn’t happy with how we performed there last year but we’re a different team now and they beat us here earlier on in the season. “I don’t think we performed particularly poorly in that game, we just lapsed the concentration and they punished us.”We want to go there and try to win, but we’re under no illusions of how difficult a game it’s going to be.”Both Jonny Margetts and Gold Omotayo are likely to be out. “Jonny felt his calf a couple of weeks ago, came back, trained Thursday, Friday, Saturday felt it again,” said Lakeland.“He had a scan – we’re probably looking at a couple of weeks for him, so it’s just a niggly one, not a serious one.”Gold felt his hamstring a little bit in training yesterday, so again I don’t think it’s a long-term one, but it’s probably going to be a couple of weeks.”
