King’s Lynn Town return to National League North action tomorrow when Curzon Ashton are the visitors to the WalksLess than a month into the new season, the game is a top-of-the-table clash with Lynn sitting in third and the Nash just one place below them in fourth. It is a completely different scenario from last season when Lynn were languishing in the bottom reaches of the table and Curzon Ashton with pushing for a place in the play-offs.The Nash returned home with a 4-0 win that night and the defeat proved to be the turning point for Lynn as Adam Lakeland’s side put together a long unbeaten run.Once again the meeting has an extra incentive for Lakeland with Curzon Ashton being his former club.Midfielder Cody Johnson is expected to be available for selection before serving a suspension for his red card at Scarborough Athletic in midweek.Lakeland said: “If you go away from home and pick up four points from a possible six on the back of a home defeat that’s an excellent return. “Every fixture is important to me as I want to win every game. It doesn’t matter if it is Curzon Ashton, Scarborough or Radcliffe, we’ve got a good team and expect to be competitive in every game that we play. “It is a completely different team who what it was last and we’re better equipped to compete against teams week-in, week-out and we’ve shown that with the start we’ve made to the season.”Despite losing our last home game we’ve played very well in all three of our home games so far and there is a real good feel factor around the Walks at the moment.”On the back of our last two results, I’m sure the supporters will be back out in numbers on Saturday and hopefully we can give them another positive result.”
