King’s Lynn Town have strengthened their squad for the forthcoming National League North season by signing two of their summer trialists.
The Linnets have brought in Ismael Fatadjo, 23, and Marley Santos Delgado with both players impressing in the club’s early pre-season outings.
Delgado progressed through Lowestoft Town’s centre of excellence and has also represented Lakenheath U18s.
He has played as a trialist in all three of Lynn’s pre-season matches so far and has impressed Mark Hughes sufficiently to earn a contract at the club.
Following the signing of winger Fatadjo on Saturday, boss Hughes said: “Ismael is a hard-working attacking player that can play in a number of positions,” said Lynn boss Mark Hughes.
“The fans have already had glimpses of his ability in our first three friendlies. Above all I have loved his work ethic and hunger to do well in a full time environment.”
Portugal-born Fatadjo has spent long spells playing in his homeland, but did spend a campaign with Wroxham in 2020/21 and has also featured for Gorleston in recent times.
The Linnets won their first pre-season game on Saturday when they beat Cheshunt 2-1 away thanks to goals from Quaine Bartley and Ben Isaacson.
They continue their pre-season preparations at Royston Town on Tuesday evening and are back in the action at The Walks on Saturday when they host Sunderland U21s.
