Pelicans Ladies captain Jane Proctor still has her sights on a top-five finish going into the final three games of the season.The ladies suffered their first loss in three outings in East Women’s Division 2 North West on Saturday with a 3-2 defeat to Spalding.With a home fixture against Long Sutton to come before a trip to league leaders St Neots on the final day of the campaign, Proctor feels that fifth spot is still achievable.The ladies currently sit three points off City of Peterborough 3rds in fifth and Proctor said: “It’s going to be tough now, but the aim is still to try to finish fifth.”Pelicans found themselves two goals down in Lincolnshire before Kiona Sequeira and Karise Sherry brought the visitors back on level terms.But any hopes of returning home with at least a point were dashed in the final ten minutes as Spalding scored a third.”They were a strong, physical and well-drilled side,” admitted Proctor.Daisy Nicholas picked up the player-of-the-match award for Pelicans.Pelicans had been due to host St Neots 2nds on Saturday but the visitors are unable to raise a side, handing Pelicans a 5-0 win and the three points,
