KSS Summer Camp to return for second year this summer

KSS Summer Camp will return for the second year this summer – with an extra day to help players progress further.The camp was put together last year by parents from three different roller hockey clubs, namely Kings Lynn RHC, Soham RHC & Skaters Scorpions RHC (KSS).They aimed to improve under-15 and under-17 players after Covid saw them lose so much training and playing time during their development years.There is now a marked difference in abilities between the top and lower clubs, but KSS Summer Camp contacted French professional coaches and invited them over for a two-day camp. Through sponsorship, donations and a lot of fundraising, the parents were able to fully fund their first camp!It proved an incredible two days, all the players fully enjoyed themselves, coming away with smiles having learned so much. The training was intense but they also made it fun for all involved.By adding an extra day to this year’s camp, the costs have increased along with hall hire, coaching costs, camp kits, and accommodation.The aim is to raise £4,000 and they have already made a good start. KSS are keen to hear from any sponsors or fundraising opportunities to help them reach their target.
