One of the main routes into Lynn town centre has been closed to traffic this lunchtime after a fire in a flat.

Police say the occupants of the property in London Road are safe and well following the blaze, which was reported shortly after 11.50am today.

Units from Lynn and Sandringham tackled the blaze, which the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said had been put out by around 12.15pm.
