Icebreaker returns to Lynn race circuit on Sunday

A new year of banger racing got off to a great start at Lynn earlier this month with the Unlimited Banger Icebreaker.More than 70 cars and over 40 juniors took the track to do battle in the 2025 opener.The Unlimited Banger Icebreaker tends to have a more national flavour to it with drivers from across the country coming to do battle.Whereas, this weekend the 1600cc banger and two-litre banger Icebreaker takes centre stage (Sunday).Once again with drivers from across the country coming to attend, as far North as Scotland no less, but with a good number of drivers locally to keep the interest.With more than 150 cars across the afternoon, it will be a fantastic afternoon of mid-range bangers; points on offer for the racers and points and prizes also on offer for the wreckers.Organisers will be keeping a watch on 356 Sam Hildon and 479 Joel Allen in the 1600cc bangers who can certainly pedal a car fast around the Lynn shale.Event details can be found online at: https://www.stockcar-racing.co.uk/The first race is on track from midday and spectator tickets are available in advance now and on the day from the box office.
