Heacham moved a step closer to an eighth successive promotion after a stunning 10-minute barrage that destroyed hosts Holland this afternoon.
Striker Fletcher Toll continued his recent goalscoring spree with a first half treble to take his recent tally to nine goals in three games as the league leaders won 7-1 on their travels at Holland.
Goals from Fletcher Toll (2), John Flanagan and Charlie Royle saw the Magpies lead 4-0 inside 20 minutes.
Toll completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot before Royle’s second saw Heacham lead 6-0 at the break.
Holland reduced the arrears at the start of the second half before the Magpies struck the woodwork twice in quick succession.
The visitors made a raft of substitutions with another game on the horizon on Easter Monday.
But there was still time for Luke Gray to add a seventh goal to complete an excellent afternoon for the history-making West Norfolk outfit.
At the SCL Memorial Field, Downham Town had to come from behind to beat basement boys Debenham LC 3-1.
Jacob White cancelled out Debenham’s opener following excellent work from Charlie Butt early in the second half.
Butt then scored an absolute screamer to put Downham in front before White netted his second of the afternoon to seal the three points.
At the other end of the table, Swaffham Town confirmed their safety with a brilliant 1-0 victory over Cornard United.
Kieran Bruce was on target with the only goal of the game at Shoemakers Lane.
On Monday, Heacham travel to Leiston Reserves while Downham Town host AFC Sudbury Reserves in their penultimate game of the campaign.
The Magpies remain a point clear at the top with a game in hand going into their final three fixtures of the season.
Victory at Leiston on Monday would see Heacham clinch the title if they can beat Harwich and Parkeston at home next Saturday.
