The Hills travelled to Manchester last weekend for the fourth round of the Racing Under the Roof Series.Alan won Masters in his usual dominant style and Kyle put in some good laps in 15+ cruiser but found his day ending with a seventh in the semi-final.Jared made his first official training camp with the Great Britain Cycling Team Olympic Development Squad (World Class Program).Hill, 16, was selected as part of the BMX racing squad. The teenager had to attend three trials before having his selection rubber-stamped – but his podium spot at the European Championships played a major part towards his pick. The Norwich Flyers BMX Club member was fourth at the world championships in 2022, seventh in the UEC European Cup in Zolder last year and third in the UEC European Cup at Ravels in Belgium. He is also a two-time British and National Champion (2022 and 2023) and was crowned Superclass regional champion in 2024 The teenager enjoyed a good session on Saturday and followed this up with an even better race day on Sunday. With two moto’s wins – his first in an elite category – he was safely through to the semi-finals.He put in a solid lap in the semi-final finishing to finish third therefore making his second superclass final of the series. He finished seventh in the final but with faster lap times this was a great way to make his mark in the squad. The family will travel to Manchester next month for the fifth and final round.
