Ghosts rewarded with a home draw in the FA Vase

Fakenham Town’s reward for knocking out twice FA Vase finalists Newport Pagnell out of this season’s competition is another home draw in the next round.

The Ghosts will entertain Great Wakering Rovers – victors of Downham Town at the weekend – in the Third Round Proper on Saturday, December 2.

Fakenham came from behind to book their place in their last 64 of the national competition thanks to goals from Louis Henman-Mason and Jay Myhill in a 2-1 victory against their UCL Premier Division South visitors at the Daly Group Stadium.
