Fakenham Town and Downham Town both exited the FA Cup following their Extra Preliminary Round replays tonight.
The Ghost were beaten 2-0 at higher-league Wroxham, while Downham Town were beaten on penalties in their tie against Mildenhall Town at the Riverside Stadium.
Downham’s clash against their Isthmian League North rivals was decided from the penalty spot after the game finished 1-1 after extra time.
And it was the Suffolk side who progressed to the next stage, courtesy of a 5-4 win from the spot.
At Wroxham, Harry Barker headed the Yachtsmen in front after 16 minutes and that’s the way it stayed until the interval – thanks to some fine saves from Ex-Ghosts goalkeeper Tom Coombe against his former club.
The home side cemented their passage through to the next stage by adding a second goal through substitute and former Downham Town striker James Moore in the 76th minute.
On Saturday, Step 4 Downham Town begin their Isthmian League North campaign with a trip to Bowers and Pitsea.
In the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, Fakenham Town travel to Hadleigh United while Heacham are at Harleston Town.
