Engines roared, bumpers clashed, and the crowd roared in delight as Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena hosted a night of adrenaline-fueled stock car action on Saturday.
In the fiercely contested F1 stock cars, it was driver 457 Callum Gill who turned heads.
After battling his way to third in the Last Chance Consolation, Gill earned a coveted spot in the Dave Leonard Memorial Final, where he held firm to claim eighth in a tightly packed field. But the night didn’t end there.
Gill returned to the track for the Allcomers Grand National, where he showcased his tenacity once more, storming through the field to secure a hard-fought third-place finish.
The saloon stock cars brought their signature brand of chaos and contact, with no-holds-barred racing and some standout performances.
151 Levi List put on a textbook display of consistency, finishing sixth, fifth, and fifth across the night to bank crucial championship points.
178 Kieran Bowman made his presence known with a storming fourth-place finish in one of the heats, proving he’s not to be overlooked.
But the night unquestionably belonged to 341 Austen Freestone, who was in unstoppable form.
Freestone won all three races, a clean sweep that left fans and competitors in awe.
The action resumes tomorrow with the 1600cc banger east anglian teams bringing their trademark carnage to the Lynn shale.
They’ll be joined by the always-entertaining micro bangers, while the 1300cc stock cars promise more metal-mashing madness.
The future stars of the sport, the junior bangers, will also be on show, proving that age is no barrier to bravery in the world of oval racing.
It’s another night of full-throttle entertainment not to be missed. For tickets and full event details, visit: www.stockcar-racing.co.uk
