Civic racer Phil Wright was back in action for rounds 13 and 14 of the Racing Hondas Championship last weekend at Go Japan.Competing at Brands Hatch in Kent, Wright qualified fourth out of 31 Honda Racers on Sunday morning. The rain and standing water at the start of race one made for a difficult getaway for the Dersingham-based racer, despite this and a hectic safety car period he took the flag in fourth place. The rain stopped and the sun came out for the start of race two.Wright, who lined up in fifth got a great start and was pushing for fourth until another safety car was deployed at the end of lap five, which stalled his progress.A red flag on lap eight brought the race to an end and he was placed fifth. The West Norfolk driver competes next and for the final time this year at Modified Live at his home circuit of Snetterton on October 20. Wright is supported By Luke Loades of Rounce and Evans Property Management and Jordan Cribb of Vertex Architecture. Thanks also go to PBS Brakes, Selina Automotive, AllSigns, One Day Motorsport, Van Works and Darren Heffer Builders.
