In a muddy but, thrilling home game clash against Spalding Rugby Club, West Norfolk U15 boys showcased a dominant performance on the field to secure a resounding 41-5 victory – their third win in successionThe encounter, marked by outstanding displays of determination and teamwork, demonstrated West Norfolk’s confidence as a team.From the off, West Norfolk set the pace with a lightning-fast try by Seb Taylor, to which Spalding managed to reply immediately with a try of their own, it proved to be their only breakthrough of the game.Despite some excellent rugby, mounting pressure and prolonged spells in West Norfolk’s final third, Spalding could not breach the strong and courageous West Norfolk backline.The West Norfolk side exhibited sharp focus and were ruthless in both attack and defence.Their cohesive gameplay and ball movement left Spalding grasping for answers throughout the match.Notable performances included strong ball-carrying runs from Ben Johnson, Zaniah Fox, Alfie Ellis and Jayden Allen but, all the boys displayed a desire to have the ball and do their bit for the win.West Norfolk coach Kevin Foley was quick to compliment Spalding’s skill and never-die attitude in his after-match speech but, ultimately, the day belonged to West Norfolk.Try scorers were: Harvey Bird, Tom Lloyd, Fraser Pick, Robin Woodcock, Oliver Rowland and Seb Taylor.Man-of-the-match was Fraser Pick.
