Sandringham parkrun debutant Ethan Primett smashed the course record with a blistering time of 16:01.
His overall time eclipsed the previous best of 16:12 set in 2022.
His performance also earned him an exceptional age-graded score of 82.31%, placing him among the highest standards seen at the venue.
A glorious morning set the scene for a memorable edition of Sandringham parkrun, as 385 runners laced up for event number 194.
The second-highest turnout of the year was treated to superb running conditions and standout performances across the board.
Also new to Sandringham, Tia-Lilly Crane was the first female finisher, crossing the line in 22:20 – a fine way to mark her 50th parkrun milestone, which she shared on the day with fellow runner Jonathan Cave.
A total of 113 runners were first timers to Sandringham, including 12 individuals who completed their very first parkrun.
Among them were: Scot Buckland, Samantha Anderson, Charlie Lees, Robbie Lees, Cordell Lister, Joe Waterworth, Louis Farrow, Joshua Hurter, Jane Grimley, Haleigh Sexton, Peter De-Gol, and Mia KB.
The event also saw 53 new personal bests, as runners made the most of the fast course and calm weather.
In addition to the front-runners and milestone celebrations, Sandringham was proud to host several members of the exclusive 500 parkrun club.
Local legend Sarah Byatt marked her 500th run with a strong finish and a round of applause from the crowd.
Byatt, a regular face at Sandringham, was presented with flowers in recognition of both her running achievement and her contribution to the Royal Estate’s parkrun community.
Joining her on the high-milestone roll call were Mark Gadie (664 runs), Liz Thompson (540), Stephen Brookes (515), and Paul Verrando (506).
Rounding out the stats, the top female age-graded performance came from Susan Cox, who posted an impressive 78.15%.
