Bunn retains his crown at Run Sandringham 10k

Mitchell Bunn retained his 10k crown as West Norfolk Athletic Club members took part in yet another Run Sandringham event.This time around it was for the 5k and 10k races – two races in which runners of all abilities can enjoy racing around the Sandringham estate.Starting with the 5k race, West Norfolk fielded four runners.First home for the club was Henry Gosnell, who was placed seventh overall with a time of 20:16Next, was Hanley Angell, who was placed 13th overall, clocking a time of 21:13.Wilf Gosnell made his 5k debut, running an impressive 28:49 to place 58th overall.Running with Gosnell was Adam Howard, making a positive comeback from injury also running a time of 28:49 and was placed 59th overall. The West Norfolk contingent also enjoyed success in the 10k. Bunn retained his title from last year’s event by storming to a first-place finish running a time of 33:46.Next home for the club was Martin Sheldrick who ran an impressive time of 39:54 to place 17th overall.Lee Richardson came in next, running a time of 42:40 and was placed 40th overall.Jamie Copeman came in a few minutes later with a time of 44:18, Rob Gosnell finished with a time of 46:34, Kelly Watts finished strong with a time of 54:11 Kerrie Page recorded a time of 57:11
